Northeast Team Celebrates 1 Year with ARG
It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we joined forces with ARG. As part of a large MSP, we struggled with ways to deliver greater business value to our clients. That all changed when we aligned our business with ARG in 2018.
In looking back at the start of our relationship, three key areas stood out about ARG and weighed heavily in our decision-making process. These included ARG’s company culture, solutions resources, support structure.
1. Culture
When you’re a small shop, contagious company culture is hard to create, maintain and grow. One fire drill and you’re derailed as a leader, working back “in” the business versus working “on” the business. At ARG, there’s a proactive focus on company culture. From the very beginning, I was blown away by ARG, and how they continue to raise the bar and exceed my expectations, especially when it comes to creating such a great company culture.
I remember when I first sat down with Greg Praske, ARG’s co-founder and CEO, back in 2017. Sales and revenue projections were not the primary focus of our conversation. Instead, we discussed our team, and how well the organizations would come together. From the very first day, we were part of the team and welcomed into the company culture. I couldn’t imagine finding a better place to be – whether it’s work ethic, success, or that customer-first philosophy – ARG has exceeded my expectations.
2. Solution Set
With both good people and a great company culture checked off my list, the next criteria I was looking for was a strong portfolio of services. The solution set that ARG offers is phenomenal and allowed my team to hit the ground running and move into new strategic areas with our clients. In the ARG environment, we now have access to incredible talent in top solution areas and even more ways to deliver value to our clients. Our team would not be where it is today without the massive support offered by our solution team. With their assistance, we are able to not only focus on working with clients but also be fully confident that we have the proper ARG resources to help us fulfill and execute on all of their requirements.
One solution that our clients are fully embracing is ARG’s mobility management. The value delivered by the subject matter experts and helpdesk support team for mobility is second to none. They almost completely offload that workload for clients. When you add in how important mobility is to UCaaS – it is a no-brainer. In our experience, you can’t evaluate UCaaS without looking at mobile strategy, cost, and policy. We typically find that ARG’s mobility solution offers a more efficient way of managing devices and lowers costs by 30 percent, and from there we are able to apply that savings towards the purchase of phones or switching/routing infrastructure to support the new phone system. This is just one of many examples of how ARG goes above and beyond the competition to find the best solution for clients.
3. Client Support
Finally, client support. We have been consistently impressed by how we can now deliver additional client support with ARG. No other telecom agents provide first call repair support, and this is more important than some may realize. ARG has been doing it for a long time, and I have never seen another company offering 24-hour structured repair, move, add, change, and billing support, much less actually encouraging customers to take advantage of it. The new value realization process also works to ensure that clients receive the business values that drove them to adopt new technology in the first place. This is yet another massive differentiator in the marketplace, and our business and client relationships are thriving because of it.
If we were still doing what we were doing five years ago we’d be facing a world of hurt. Now, because of ARG’s relationships, support, solution sets, and unwavering commitment to creating IT clarity for its customers, this team is more relevant and more valuable than ever in the marketplace that we’ve been serving for 30 years. As ARG continues to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, we see an even brighter future and more resources ahead, both in the Northeast and beyond.
I simply can’t imagine a better place for those wanting to hang their own shingle, companies hesitating to make the massive investment to take that next big growth curve or business owners looking for an exit but want their people and clients well cared for. Together we are worth exponentially more in the future then we are individually.
