Last Saturday I was walking the dogs when I walked past the loading dock – there was a small U-Haul with a little girl sitting in it and her mom on the phone outside having what was obviously not a pleasant call.
When I came back around the conversation was a louder and I couldn’t help but hear that someone had let her down and not showed up to help her unload the truck – having just recently been through the EXACT same thing – I walked up and told her I would help her with all the heavy stuff.
She didn’t have much so I just helped with the entire truck and then took her daughter (can’t remember either person’s name but the dog’s name is Twister!!) to grab lunch at Smashburger and brought mom back a Starbucks Cold Brew.
