Mike donated funds to go towards lunches to feed people in need. I added to the funds. I reached out on Saturday for friends to donate. We raised over $6000 that will now allow us to make over 2000 meals! I was able to partner with a couple local restaurants to bring back furloughed employees who will make the daily lunches for distribution. In the meantime, I will be making the first 200 sandwiches tomorrow with help from a local restaurant/staff for Wednesday distribution. I took on baking a few dozen pies and those proceeds continue to go to the pot. Mike kicked this off and it exploded! Go Mike! She also got a few pictures of Mike in action making sandwiches!
