Thank you very much, It’s not very often managers get to hear how well their people are doing, and they get tired of hearing about the negative. I wanted to take some time to let you know how much we appreciate all the great work Joe does. He is very responsive to our requests and always follows through to completion. He makes sure everything gets handled or at least points us in the right direction. Joe certainly goes go above and beyond to help us out and makes working through our issues much easier.
I want to pass along my heartfelt thanks for the support from ARG today. Our Waldorf office went off line yesterday. I was contacted by Windstream but expected my managed service provider to contact me as well and take the lead. They didn’t and I started working with Windstream today. It’s a router problem. When I started getting frustrated with the lack of progress I called into ARG’s support line. Joe answered the call and proceeded to take the whole issue off my hands. He kept me updated all afternoon and has helped to get someone onsite. I couldn’t keep someone onsite until 6:30 pm tonight to meet the tech so he made arrangements for them to arrive at 8:00 am tomorrow morning so we can be up and running (hopefully) when the office opens on 9:00 am. I know I will arrive at the office tomorrow morning and find an update from Joe waiting for me.I know this is standard operating procedure for ARG but I wanted you to know and Steve to know on Joe’s behalf, what a pleasure it is working with your group.
Just wanted to let you all know that I was thoroughly happy with the service that Bop provided at our Rockville cut. My company recently acquired a small Independent Insurance Agency in Annapolis, Maryland. As you can imagine an acquisition of any size can be complicated, especially becoming familiar with new Vendors and Suppliers. A lightning strike rendered all electronic devices inoperable.When Joseph Harre learned of our situation, he reached out and introduced himself and ARG to me and within a short time suggested and implemented a solution to our telecommunication issues; something my other long-term telecom vendors were unable to accomplish. I want to take a moment to thank you so much for your help the other day when we were having terrible outgoing email problems. As you know, originally I called ARG only to ascertain whether ATT had imposed a limit on our outgoing email. ARG determined that in fact, that was not the case. ARG could simply have assumed that my question had been answered and nothing further needed to be done on your part, but you took the initiative to request copies of the error message and email we had received, and after I faxed them to you, you did the research and found that we had somehow been added to the Barracuda blacklist. Again, you could have stopped there, but you went the extra mile to go ahead and have us removed from that list, and all within a short time of discovery.Though the cause of the email trouble turned out to be unrelated to the internet service itself, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to you and ARG for going well beyond simply answering a question, but taking the time and making the effort to make the situation right for us, your client. Your involvement is typical of the excellent service and close working relationship we have had with, and hope to continue to have, with ARG for many years. Having ARG handle our switch to a new dial tone and internet provider impacted me by taking the day to day details and concerns of the transaction off my hands. In addition I had the benefit of ARG’s expertise when difficult situations arose. For managers and administrators such as myself, one of the biggest challenges in business is incorporating new technology into busy, high functioning offices. When I decided to replace our multi office phone system, I knew it would be a difficult undertaking in many ways, but I was totally unprepared for how daunting the process would be. Just finding the time to coordinate between vendors and create a timeline for implementation is a challenge, and when there are potential problems, it can be totally overwhelming. Initially, I did not even understand what ARG does or how they could fit into this process but I quickly learned how important they were to become!ARG fully coordinated the project, communicated with the vendors, arranged for the implementation of equipment and turnover, and followed up on each and every detail. Additionally, when we encountered issues with connectivity, installation and faulty equipment, they were on task every second. At ARG, the supportive staff knew immediately how to properly escalate my calls, and always routed me to the appropriate technician or consultant. They communicated with the vendors directly and ARG was able to do testing and isolate the problems and quickly arrive at solutions. At one point, after multiple techs from (carrier) had been dispatched unsuccessfully to one of my sites, a representative from ARG personally went to see if he could determine what was causing a problem we were having. Not only did he isolate the problem; he was able to repair it.The level of commitment, the standards of excellence, the knowledge base and the delivery of service at ARG is beyond exemplary. I just wanted to send out a message to thank ARG and commend you for the level of expertise and support I’ve received recently from your people. With ARG’s assistance, we’ve just completed an upgrade from four T1 lines to a 20Mb fiber circuit and I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received from ARG.Let me do this chronologically:1) From the beginning, Lew Branning has been extremely informative, keeping me apprised at every step of the order process, and very quick to respond when I had any questions or concerns.2) When, last week, we experienced a total outage due to a premature change to our circuit made by (carrier), your front-line support people (Susan & Kym) were immediately on it. Later, Kristine Pallatucci went above and beyond to help me first confirm that our issue was not internal, then continue communicating with (carrier) until the issue was diagnosed and resolved on a day when I wasn’t able to be in the office for the first half of the issue’s duration.3) This morning, the day of the actual event, may have seen the quickest cutover on record. As the sole IT support person for a company of sixty employees, I have many hats to wear and do not have the router-level expertise necessary to be comfortable making the necessary router changes to complete our end of the cutover in a timely manner. Again, Kristine donned her fetching red cape and the “S” emblem on her shirt and completed our end of the change. Without her expertise and inside knowledge of the technicians on GC’s side, the change could have taken far longer and been the cause of much hair-loss here at Cernium.It is this level of support and care that has saved Cernium much downtime and ill-spent money in the past. It is also what has made Cernium a happy client of ARG for the past several years, and what makes me happy to recommend ARG to my colleagues in the IT business.

ARG is lucky to have you; and if (carrier) knew how much we value your work ethic—they may want to steal you from ARG!On a daily basis I received at least 2 calls from other vendors soliciting our business. While many offer lower contracts and many incentives to switch over long distance services as well as to purchase new phone equipment; we have repeatedly declined letting them know that even though we are very cost conscience, great customer service is priceless. Moreover, great customer service is something we already have with Joe Harre with ARG, and are not willing to trade off that relationship for cheaper contracts.As you know 6 months ago we were seriously considering changing vendors because of the billing nightmare we had with(carrier). It took 4 months, April through September, to work through (carrier) billing system transition and to finally get a correct invoice from them. None of this would have been possible without your assistance. I can’t thank you enough for taking the initiative to help resolve our issues with (carrier).In 2009 we were considering purchasing a new phone system, but due to the economy we had to postpone that purchase. As soon as we are able to purchase a new phone system, ARG will certainly be the first vendor we call upon. This is due in no small part to the attentive service you have provided to us.
We’ve been very happy with Kym’s help since cutting over, and ARG in general. Everything that’s popped up over the course of time has been responded to in a very timely fashion and repaired as well. In short, Kym’s been great!

ARG has helped Cardinal Bank with a number of projects which have resulted in a more than 20% savings in telecom expense. While the cost saves are certainly eye catching, it is also the service levels of ARG and their ability to serve as the go between (with extremely effective results) for the providers that makes this vendor relationship an A+. ARG is of a size that they have significant purchasing power and inside connections that is beyond what we could do alone but they are small enough that they assign a dedicated team that is on call all the time. I highly recommend that you meet with ARG to evaluate their services and products
During a client assessment earlier this year, I learned ARG conducts mobility account audits. I was hesitant as I did not have the time to dedicate to this; but I found out all they needed were the bills. THEY do all the work!A few weeks later, we spent less than half an hour on the phone reviewing the results - 20% in savings monthly! They called the carrier with me, made all of the necessary changes and RER was on the road to significant phone expense savings. ARG reviewed the next few invoices to confirm all the changes and these savings were in place. It was a positive experience, easy, little time required on my part and Patrick and Misty were unbelievable.
To let you know a little about my service and introduction with ARG, it was done through Julie Smith of TCI. She said you were a one-stop shop, and I would be able to find all the pertinent long distance phone service without going any further. With that said, I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Feugill over the phone, and Sarah guided me throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Anytime I had a question, if she was unaware, she would find the answer for me! Sarah left no stone unturned, and when I was going crazy with XO Communications with trying to get further information, she said rest assured, once you have ARG in your corner, you will not have to go through this aggravation again. ARG will do all the work…just pick up the phone and Sarah was right!Once Gina picked up the baton, it was a smooth hand-off. On the day of installation, ARG came in along with TCI and were in and out in less than 90 minutes. My name is Pamela Brown and I am the manager for technical support services for Greenhorne & O’Mara, Inc. Greenhorne & O’Mara, Inc. has had a relationship with ARG since the spring 2010. Since that time, I have personally worked with Joe Harre, Kara Semon and Steve Murphy to report telco outages, coordinate system testing, resolve issues with monthly invoices and select telecommunications services.The support that we have received from Joe, Kara and the rest of the ARG team has been excellent. Why?1. They are responsive – There have been days in which I received an out-of-office email response from one of the ARG team. That notification was OK. But, invariably, they would email back a response immediately saying that they would look into the issue upon their return.2. They are persistent – Joe and Kara use all of their recourses to get questions answered and issues resolved. Sometimes we have to go back to get further insight into an issues. ARG representatives go back to our telecommunications vendors to make sure that we get the right answer.3. They are professional – I have never had an instance where they presented themselves in an unprofessional manner.4. They are knowledgeable — They understand the telecommunications industry and provide the most appropriate and prudent solutions for our company. If they don’t know the answer, they find out the answer and give us good solutions.5. They are hands-on — Many times, we have to have after-hours testing to implement new services or resolve telco issues. Our representatives from ARG will coordinate the testing between us and the vendor. They will provide the conference call bridges and stay on the phone with us until the testing and implementation is completed.All this means, that the service and support we have received from ARG has met G&O’s needs in a positive way. We enjoy working with Joe, Kara, Steve and all of the ARG representatives who help make our jobs easier by guiding us and resolving telecommunications issues.

We recently selected the services of ARG in partnership with a phone vendor to bring in a new phone system. We ultimately ordered a PRI, which was supposed to be turned up tomorrow. We had to hire a separate cabling company to terminate the line into our suite and there was some concern over whether or not we would have problems with that line while we turning up the PRI.Today at noon, the ARG engineer showed up because they happened to be in the neighborhood and wanted to test the line prior to the cutover. Frankly, this blew me away and brought us a lot of relief because the line was not in fact connected correctly.Further, in conjunction with the project manager who has kept us abreast of every update at every step of the way, we were able to turn up the PRI today and test it. I can’t underscore enough how much they went above and beyond the call of duty. Their level of service and knowledge was simply exemplary. I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your team on doing an amazing job. From beginning to end, we have been treated with the highest level of service. From the consultant through project management to the engineer, I couldn’t be more pleased. If you ever need a reference, please feel free to use me as one.I can’t underscore enough how great a job your team has done throughout this process.
We have found the firm’s assistance in purchasing services (telephone and internet connectivity) to be very helpful. They have a comprehensive view of the market and helped us select providers that have met our need and that we weren’t aware existed. Most importantly, the ongoing service from the providers that they recommended has been cost effective and consistent.Notwithstanding my comments above, not everything works perfectly every time. And, very often, the problem will arise due to a change that it appeared had to be made. Then things break down and have to be fixed. In our case, a year ago we had some e-mail problems that had us extremely concerned and they taxed our and ARG’s patience and technical capabilitites. But they stuck with it and helped us trace the source of the problem and helped us get it fixed even though the ultimate problem we learned was caused by an action we initiated and was outside of the services that we had purchased from ARG.It is rare that you can find a company that works with you so completely. To help you solve problems arising from services that you have purchased from a company is expected and is necessary customer service. To go beyond that and help one solve problems that arise outside of services that have been purchased and to do so willingly, unreservedly, and without additional charges for hte assistance is truly beyond any reasonable expectations.We very much appreciate the assistance that has been provided to our firm.
I must tell you that Joe has been awesome (along with everyone else over there I’ve worked with). We’ve had some minor issues on one of our circuits, and Joe has been on top of it. I haven’t had to ask him for follow ups, he’s been awesome at relaying information, and pushing through with every “next step” to try and resolve the issue. While we don’t have an answer yet as to the causes of the issue, I can say with confidence that I know it’s not for a lack of effort on Joe’s part. It’s very few and far between where I can rave about a support experience in the IT field, but this has certainly been one of them.

We were introduced to ARG during the process of preparing for an office move. We were evaluating a range of phone service providers and phone system platforms. Our ARG consultant was more than helpful and available as we negotiated the maze of IP phones and potential service carriers. The analysis she provided was a critical resource in our decision-making process. Of all the decisions needed during a major office move, we can genuinely say choosing to work with ARG was one of the smartest.The ARG transition team was very engaged and interfaced seamlessly with our vendors throughout the process of designing and implementing our new phone system, getting onboard with our new carrier and exiting from our former carrier and service plans. Now as an established client, we have come to recognize even further the value of ARG’s service. Not only were they saving us money, they were also providing better customer service. The great thing about ARG is that they assign you a customer service representative who handles everything, so when there is a problem, you make one call to ARG and they do the rest. ARG on a few occasions has gone above and beyond what was expected to make sure the service they promised was being met. That sometimes included making calls outside of normal business hours.
Electrical and telecom outages plague the area of downtown Bethesda, MD and we’d be lost without the ability to have our critical communications needs handled with speed and efficiency. During the day or night, or even on the weekend, our requests get immediate attention and resolve. The support team freakin’ rocks — very thorough and knowledgeable, each person we deal with is responsive and pleasant. Great job.
ARG has been a great asset to me as an IT Manager, as well as to the practice. Their inside connections with many of the major internet and phone service providers has allowed for a smooth transition from one provider to the next, all while saving our practice time and money. I no longer have to worry about sitting on hold with support or waiting hours for an issue to be resolved. ARG takes care of monitoring any issues that may arise and updates when progress is made and/or when the issue has been resolved.
We get much better information and service by using our communications broker/manager, ARG, as a starting point; they can translate the technical jargon and give objective understanding, without having to navigate the voicemail tree of the provider.
Our ARG representative is always there for us. He responds after hours from the road, from his car or wherever. It is tough to get service like that anywhere. He keeps our vendors straight and we can always relay on ARG to give us a hand in those times when things get tough. Many thanks to ARG for their great support!

I am happy to report that we have successfully cutover to the new Level(3) primary pipe and it appears to be working well. As you know, we are a medical practice that is heavily dependent on fast, reliable connectivity for all aspects of patient care and communications, laboratory and clinical services and all our administrative and financial operations. Over the years, when anything has broken somewhere in myriad systems that wire us all together, ARG has been there right away representing our needs, investigating, troubleshooting and keeping us fully informed as if we were a Fortune 500 corporation. Believe me, we haven’t forgotten what it can be like! You have built a great company and, for us, your greatest service is peace of mind.
When our company made the decision to go with ARG, I was a bit skeptical. I have to say, I have been more than pleasantly surprised. The transition from our previous vendor to our new service was a bit taxing, Lew Branning worked tirelessly getting that completed. Our point person, Lava Mohammed has assisted me on several occasions. Joe Harre recently worked on what could have been an interruption in our business-updating me during the process and getting me the final resolve very quickly. EVERYONE is top of the line. Ready to assist when needed. I cannot say enough good things about the team at ARG.
ARG takes one of the most stressful parts of telecommunications away from me – I am referring to working with the telco’s to make add\move\changes\repairs to circuits. Prior to enjoying ARG services I would spend so much time on-hold and being transferred all around until I could get to the correct person to receive help. Now with our relationship with ARG they have connections and get much faster resolutions for us. This gives me a chance to inform KePRO’s management of the status of the situation and to place temporary solutions until permanent resolution takes place. An outage is stressful enough but to try to put temporary solutions into place while working with the telco can be overwhelming.Outside of contacting ARG when there are problems I also fully appreciate all their willingness to offer advice on unclear topics and possible solutions. Their skill level and dedication is remarkable.

I will say that I have NEVER been a fan of using a third party to manage our accounts and circuits. I always thought it would be another iron in the fire that I had to sort through! I must say that I have been extremely satisfied with the service and benefits of working with ARG. During the recent troubles that we’ve been trying to isolate, you’ve been able to escalate our troubles to the top levels within (carriers). You’ve come on site several times with test equipment to work and test head to head with the carriers, and the PBX vendor. This is invaluable to us as a service. We do not own that type of expensive test equipment, and that alone is a huge benefit. I appreciate you guys (and gals) jumping on conference calls with us at all hours of the day and night to resolve troubles. To sum it up, you do a great job of helping to keep the vendors on their toes.
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank ARG for all the help during our bandwidth upgrade. While dealing with vendors like (carriers), it’s always nice to have ARG’s experience on our side.While going from 2 T1s to a 10MB Ethernet connection might not seem like a big deal for some, for a company like ours that hosts it’s own web server and email server, and hosts regular webinars, that internet connection is crucial.When first approached by other firms offering greater bandwidth, my main concern quickly became preserving our schema of 128 IP addresses, so I did not have to spend an entire weekend changing all of them with Network Solutions’ authoritative DNS, our internal DNS, and on our web servers. But ARG offered us the possibility of an upgrade with our current provider, thereby retaining our schema, and helped us throughout the hiccups that can happen during these kinds of transitions, including being onsite during the cutover to basically handle the new router configuration. I seriously doubt we would have upgraded otherwise because of all the hassles involved.Lew Branning did a great job managing the vendor activity so I did not have to, and (ARG) provided the necessary know-how onsite during the cutover to make sure the transition was flawless. Just knowing Kristine was going to be onsite to help during the cutover was enough to quell any anxiety I might have had about that process. She provided similar help when we moved to this building almost 5 years ago, and having that skill set onsite is invaluable.Quite simply, ARG has never let us down. If you are ever looking for a client that will provide good references to new prospects, please consider us.
I have worked in the voice communications environment for over 25+ years. During that time I have had both the pleasure and misfortune of having to deal with a number of different vendors who have provided me with various services. Typically, having to spend time interfacing with vendors costs me time where I could be actually doing my job.When I arrived at SHRM 5 years ago I was pleasantly surprised to find that my days of dealing with voice related vendors was gone. Having ARG working for me and my company’s interests is a huge amount of responsibility that has been taken OFF of my plate. It was nice to meet you and Steve yesterday. As I mentioned to you, I became aware of ARG back in the mid 90’s when I was with the American Corporate Counsel Association (now the Corporate Counsel Association). I worked closely with Carol at ARG for some time. She even worked with me moving our offices. I cannot tell you how much assistance that was to have someone interface between the phone company and the other vendors. I’m not sure I would have been able to juggle all of those balls without Carol.After leaving ACCA, I worked as a consultant for a time and mentioned ARG to each and every client of mine as a situation arose that I thought you could help with. Whether it was teleconferencing or long distance service, I would mention your group and ask them to get in touch with you. I found that most organizations I came across hadn’t heard of you, but were glad when they did! I know I worked with Heather Campbell somewhere along the way also.So, when I arrived at The Obesity Society, I asked ARG to come in and assess what we had in house. I wasn’t confident that anyone before me had been paying attention to costs for long distance, conference calling etc . Meredith did the analysis and said we were pretty good. But, when it came time to see that we were going to leave our existing building and move three blocks, I knew we needed to make some changes for the better and ARG could definitely help us do that.The move was very labor intensive for me and again having Meredith and Ashley to coordinate the phones and IT, was a tremendous help. They also helped me decipher some of the technical speak some of the other vendors referenced. So, be rest assured that we will continue to use ARG here at TOS and anywhere else I may end up in the future.By the way, I wanted to also comment on Bop. His enthusiasm for his job and his positive spirit should be commended. I believe I asked him one day “how are you?” and his response was “having a fabulous day, aren’t you?”Thanks again for all of your help!

As we have been with ARG for 2 year I’d like to take time and let you know how happy we are with ARG.There are time that we have to fight against the Evil Forces from the Dark Side. We were given empty promises form the service providers. Sometime we also were bullied by them. Whenever Darth Vader swing his Light Saber at us, there always is ARG. Especially during the change of service ( upgrade service, install new service ) we had experienced several issues.Those Dark Lord of (carriers), do not act professionally and “Laurel” has to be the enforcer. She stand before us and fight for us. Unfortunately, they have army of CLONE and “Laurel” had to step in each time. If she were not there, we might have to deal with them and who know how long would that take to get it done. Thanks “Laurel” for always being there when we need help. So do “Joe” and “Gary”, both are very responsive to my request. And provide all necessary info for us when needed.I am grateful to work with those special employees from ARG who are knowledgeable and provide 1st class customer service. I’ve been in IT fields for 15 years and ARG is one of the top service providers I have ever had.
