The Falls Church City Public Schools, in conjunction with the Special Olympics, put on a fabulous event at the GMHS track. The Little Feet Meet in The Little City had a great turnout and from what I could tell, everyone had a lot of fun. Students ran, threw, jumped and played games. The lead sponsor of the event was Ablenow and Flippin Pizza provided lunch. During the opening ceremonies, all the athletes recited the Special Olympics oath: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
This is a fantastic event every year and I encourage everyone to raise your hand if you see a Little Feet Meet in your area. Thank you, ARG, for the time for the time to serve these brave athletes!
