My son was back in town from California for a long weekend and we went to breakfast at a local diner. He is 22 and graduated high school in 2015.
Our server came over and to start the restaurant process and he immediately recognized Jake from school. We got introduced and the two guys caught up a little. Jake talking about his move across the country and Sean, our server, talking about how it’s been a rough ride since graduation. He said that he’s now on the rise with his job and had recently enrolled at the local community college. He explained that he’s paying for it all himself but it was worth it.
I gave him the RAK money with our card explaining the program and suggested he do something fun with a few extra dollars.
