I went to the local liquor store to buy some wine and I saw him walk by in scrubs and thought – perfect person to do a random act of kindness. I went up to him and told him about the partnership between PGi and ARG and we would like to buy him a 6 pack of beer his choice. At first he was confused but when I told him I would take it up front and pay for it – then he got it. He then told me that he is a med student at KU Med and graduates in May and had just got off his shift. He was so gracious and thought it was such a random act of kindness.
