James has spent his entire 30-year career providing telecommunications and IT solutions to mid and large-sized businesses facing technology challenges. James currently serves as President at ARG where he utilizes his substantial M&A, financial, and operational expertise to assist the Executive Team in driving operational enhancements and profitability.
Before coming to ARG, James was the CEO of Cost Management Group (CMG), a leading Telecom Expense Management firm providing TEM software, professional services, and technology consulting to mid-size and enterprise customers. Under his leadership, CMG supported national brands such as Under Armour, Volkswagen, and Dunkin Donuts and developed a key strategic partnership with CDW.
Prior to CMG, James co-founded iTEMize Technologies, a Gartner magic quadrant TEM company focused on the mid-market, where he served as President. James was the chief architect of the software and was also responsible for product strategy, sales, and finance until iTEMize Technologies was sold to CMG in 2012.
In 2001, James co-founded and served as COO of NetGain Communications, one of the largest direct-selling IT/Telecom Agencies and consulting firms in the U.S. NetGain was sold to ARG in 2009.
James earned a B.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems and a B.B.A degree in Management from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
