    Enterprise Account Manager Position Overview

    ARG seeks a self-motivated, independent, and highly driven Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) to support key clients. The role of the EAM is to build a superior client relationship via trust with key ARG clients. This position focuses on driving exceptional customer service while protecting key accounts from obsoletion through education, selection, and deployment of new technologies. To be successful, the role requires great attention to detail and a commitment to building mutually beneficial, multi-point customer relationships. The expectation for this role is a highly advanced understanding in effective client management and relationship building in addition to developing compelling technology solutions for clients leveraging the ARG portfolio. The role requires providing ongoing support and management of the accounts from implementation throughout the life of their contracts.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record managing large client accounts
    • Ability to utilize business acumen to understand the customer’s business, provide industry input to develop and position the ARG value proposition
    • Experience orchestrating & conducting business meetings with various client roles including C-level and Director level
    • Accomplished in proactively growing customer knowledge and relationships within an account
    • Ability to distill information provided from the client, collaborating with the internal ARG team to create a strategic account plan
    • Effectively articulate the ARG expertise, strategy, support model and value proposition to clients
    • Experience positioning and furthering solutions in the UCaaS, Cloud Compute, Security and SD-WAN space (including presenting and educating on differentiators)

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and nurture long-term business relationships with the goal of being considered a member of the client’s team (trusted advisor); leveraging the proper ARG resources where applicable
    • Track upcoming client projects and our deliverables to support them for all assigned accounts using ARG’s tools/systems; work closely with the Enterprise Team
    • Proactively and efficiently manage resources, communicate with dedicated teams, virtual teams around opportunities to ensure successful outcomes
    • Serve as the day-to-day liaison for assigned clients. Ensure successful and timely completion of customer requests
    • Work with the ARG Enterprise Consultant to align the overall solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
    • Bring in proper resources which will allow ARG to execute solution development and deployment to existing customers
    • Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products and secure strategic commitments
    • Accurately forecast business and track  against the baseline and account plan
    • Understand account history and the account relationships
    • Local travel and occasional national travel will be required

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of enterprise account management experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience creating and executing accurate quarterly and annual business plans
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and targets
    • Excellent in-person and web presentations skills
    • Ability to extract critical requirements/action items out of a meeting to prepare accurate summary
    • Skilled in communicating complex concepts and technical benefits in business terms to the executive level
    • Self-motivated, independent, and highly driven to succeed and help clients transform their organizations
